Emily Rupp
Midwestern born and raised, Emily attended The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School for Film/TV. She has performed duties in all aspects of the entertainment industry from writing, producing and script editing, to performing and directing; but she has a special passion for being in the spotlight. An alumni of Project Girl Performance Collective, Emily has become a well spoken public figure for female empowerment and raising self-confidence in young women around the world. She pas performed her original work at The New Jersey State Theater, The Chicago State Theater, and even The White House. She has been seen on PBS, TED talks, and featured on German National News Network, ARD. She is also a singer/songwriter/musician who plays the acoustic guitar, ukulele, flute, and piccolo. Her original music has also been heard around the US at coffee shops, theaters, and concert halls as well as on radio stations in New York, Canada, and the UK that broadcast around the world. Emily enjoys performing, especially her original work, and using her music and voice to inspire anyone willing to listen. A few recent credits include Cause of Failure (FullStop Collective), L’Espirt de L’Escalier (Rising Phoenix Rep),Ten Years Later… (PGPC/Co-Op Theater East at Playwrights Horizons), It’s Been Arranged (director, performer, writer with PGPC on a national tour with the United Nations Foundation, Girl Up).
