Dahlia Al-Habieli

Dahlia Al-Habieli sends love from Boston, where she is the Associate Production Manager at the Lyric Stage Company and a freelance scenic designer. Recent design credits include the Boston premieres of Chinglish (Lyric Stage) and Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo (Company One). Other select credits: Epic Proportions (Winnipesaukee Playhouse), A Christmas Story (New Repertory Theatre), Or, (Lyric Stage), Matt and Ben (Central Square Theatre), and multiple offenses with the much-missed Publick Theatre of Boston (2009 IRNE Winner for Humble Boy), Boston Children’s Theatre, Watertown Childrens’ Theatre, New Rep on Tour, Wellesley Summer Theatre, the Factory Theatre, and Another Country Productions. Dahlia has previously served as the Assistant Production Manager for the Wellesley College Theatre Studies Department, and as Assistant Production Coordinator for the Tony Award-winning Eugene O’Neill Theater Center in Waterford, CT. She returns to the O’Neill each spring as the Young Playwrights Design Mentor, working with middle and high-school playwrights in collaboration with professional actors and directors. Dahlia holds a BA from Wellesley College, and is a graduate of the O’Neill National Theater Institute.
