Christine Drew Benjamin

Christine Drew Benjamin lives in New York, where she continues to write, direct, dramaturg, take photographs, and create new art. Plays include Mary, Mary (or the virginity play) (FullStop Collective Devo Series 2011-2012), Dirtballs in Her Pocket (or dressed to the nines) (Theater In Asylum,2011), Carries On  (Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, Playwright’s Week, Winter 2010), The Secret Seduction of Little Girls (John Woods Scholarship, 2009), Bare Bones and Veracity (CSUF New Play Festival Fall 2008/2009). Directing credits: Estrellas Verdes (Produced at FullStop Collective’sForeplays 2012: Full Fervor, developed at Filling the Well: An Artist Retreat, 2011). A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, she earned her BA in Theatre Arts, with an Emphasis in Playwriting, and a Minor in Gender Studies.
